Personal superannuation choices are sadly often made on the spot when people first start out in their career. While many people will later change their personal superannuation fund, it is a shame that the money that was added to personal superannuation in the early years will have likely not made as much as it potentially could have.

Don't just look at corporate superannuation funds, though, as you may find that you could benefit from an industry superannuation fund. For those with financial savvy, self managed superannuation funds can be rewarding and a cheaper option than other forms of personal superannuation.
